Thank you-- and so long, for now
After careful consideration and seemingly endless back and forth debating, Laine and I have decided to make the difficult decision to suspend operation of SingSteps indefinitely. We have adored every moment that was spent with the hundreds of children and their parents (some kids as young as a few days old!) dating back to 2013.
While making music, teaching and entertaining is our passion... so are our children. As our two boys have grown over the years, Laine and I have come to appreciate them and their fantastic selves. We do not want to miss out on making memories with them any more than we already do based on our other work commitments. Simply put: I wish there was more time in the day to fit everything in, including teaching classes and being with some of the kindest people we have ever met along the way.
We may or may not be back one day down the line. Regardless-- I leave parents with one simple request: continue to make music with your kids both comfortably and uncomfortably. Sing in tune or off key, dance to the beat or off rhythm, be creative or a copy cat, be perfect (HA!) or make mistakes. However it is done... have fun and enjoy each other!
Truly thankful for the memories,
